Jesse Snyder, Clinician/Coach

Jesse Snyder, MSW, Clinician/Coach at Riser+Tread, earned his Bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a secondary major in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
After a brief stint in finance, he followed his passion and curiosity for helping others and joined Franciscan Children's Hospital as a Mental Health Specialist on the Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) unit. He went on to earn his Master's degree in Social Work from Boston College, building experience across a wide range of mental health settings and populations, including work with Veterans at the Bedford VA.
A Lexington native and Lexington High School alumnus, Jesse understands firsthand the demands of balancing academics, athletics, and extracurricular life. That lived experience forms the foundation of his clinical approach — he leads with genuine rapport and empathy before drawing on evidence-based modalities including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Jesse has a particular passion for working with clients who are new to therapy, and brings extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD.
When he's not in the office, Jesse enjoys golfing, hiking, and reading. When not outdoors, Jesse enjoys spending time playing board games with his family, cooking, hanging out with friends, or playing video games.
