
Hannah Winter, Clinician/Coach

Hannah Winter earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University. Prior to joining Riser+Tread, Hannah worked at Bay State Community Services, where she was trained to provide behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment to individuals of all ages. While at Bay State, Hannah conducted Care Coordination, led groups, and provided individual therapy, as well as support services for children ages 8 to 13.
As a mental health counselor, Hannah provides a safe and compassionate environment where her clients feel heard and supported as they explore their emotions and work through difficulties. Having lived and worked on three continents, Hannah’s personal development journey and therapeutic training enables her to work with people from differing cultural backgrounds. She believes in meeting clients where they are and customizes her therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs of the individual. Hannah uses a goal-oriented approach to therapy, while also using an array of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused therapy, Person-Centered therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Hannah’s passion is to improve the lives of her clients by helping them realize their strengths and build their confidence, sense of belonging, and resiliency.
Hannah was previously a two season athlete and played intramural volleyball in college. In her free time, Hannah enjoys going to work out classes, listening to music, reading, and hanging out with friends. She is passionate about travel and is an avid dog lover.
